As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
Life groups are an intentional opportunity to choose community on a regular basis. Their goal is to create an environment where trust can be built, and members can choose to walk in vulnerability and authenticity through life's ups and downs. Participants speak truth to each other in love when needed.
Our desire is to bear each other's burdens without trying to fix anyone. We want to celebrate life's joys and stand with one another in our pain as we continue to point each other back to Jesus who really is our life no matter what circumstances we are facing.

Brian and Denise Stroud
Brian and Denise began their journey with a small group when they were struggling in their marriage. Their small group rallied around them from the get go. They shared their personal testimony and they loved them throughout their
struggles. Since then, the two have been a part of small groups in Northern Virginia, Mississippi, and
Lynchburg.

John and Garvisa Stroud
Small groups have played a significant role in John and Garvisa's spiritual formation. Both of them wanted to lead a life group in order to build deeper relationships with the people of Mosaic outside of a Sunday morning gathering. They believe that real spiritual transformation occurs over time and is best experienced in the meaningful relationships fostered in a small group community.

Jeff and Cheryl Nitz
Jeff and Cheryl have participated in small groups for most of their adult lives and have found these to be where meaningful relationships and ministry can best thrive within the local body. In learning both painful and joyful lessons from 38 years of marriage and raising four children into adulthood, they have a special interest in helping young couples grow in Christ and having their marriage and family radiate Jesus' love and grace in their lives.

Zach and Meg Teramura
Zach and Meg co-lead a biweekly life group that focuses on cultivating genuine and meaningful relationships with both members of Mosaic and other young adults in the Lynchburg area. They are firm believers that purposeful discussions centered around Christ and His role in our lives are essential for anyone seeking to thrive in a vibrant community.
