Rick Ouimet

Lead Pastor

Rick & his wife Mimi have been married 37 years and have 3 adult children, Levi, Leah, & Anna. Rick enjoys reading, snow, and a fresh cup of coffee; preferably all at the same time.

Rick found Jesus, his wife Mimi, and his calling as a pastor while living in Las Vegas in the early 80’s. "Where sin abounds, grace abounds much more."  Rick is the founding pastor of Mosaic, as well as the Founder of a Para-church ministry for at-risk youth called Straight Street.

Rick’s passion is to help hurting people find healing in the loving arms of Jesus. Rick is not impressed with posers (used to be one) or people who use a lot of “Christianese.” He is, however, impressed with people who want to live an authentic Christian life, even if it gets messy from time to time.

Anyone that knows Mimi knows that she has a passion for healthy living through good nutrition. She also has a tremendous passion to see women be healthy emotionally and spiritually. Mimi believes that no matter what circumstances today’s woman finds herself in, she can live loved and live free by believing what God’s Word says about her.

Mimi leads the women’s ministry called The Gathering, heads up the Mosaic Café, and serves as the church administrator.

"I believe my life experiences, spiritual gifts, and temperament have oriented me toward Jesus' goal 'that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you' (John 17:21). Jesus prayed to the Father that his disciples would achieve complete unity, not just the ones who walked with Him but those yet to come 'who will believe in me through their word' (John 17:20). The imagery of Christians unified across centuries and into infinity is powerful, and if we lead by example, the church can heal the divisions in our land."

Annik loves to cook and her spiritual gifts are definitely hospitality and acts of service. She speaks 3 languages and is currently the Department Chair for the Department of Modern Languages at Liberty University. In her “spare time” she is working on and almost finished her Doctorate in Education.

What a blessing her and Ron are to Mosaic!
