The Greeting ministry of Mosaic Church seeks to create an environment where everyone who comes through the doors is seen and loved. Our desire is to make authentic connections with the people we meet and help them feel at home at Mosaic.
If you feel led to be one of the first things people see when they walk in the door, we are always looking for greeters to welcome new and returning congregants to the church.
Between the end of worship and the message, we always take an approximately 10-minute coffee break. Why? Some people come in late, others have to leave early, and it means people don't get a chance to socialize. This is our time to walk across the room and say hi to someone we don't know -- and to get a good cup of joe!
We are always looking for volunteers to assist in the cafe! You don't need to have any prior experience making coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or any of the drinks we serve. We'll show you the ropes!
There are a lot of things that need to be done before service starts at 10am, and a few after service to close up shop. The deacons have taken on many of these responsibilities, but they'd love some assistance with some of the tasks: getting lights turned on, putting out signs, taking out the trash, etc.
If you'd be interested in helping out with opening responsibilities or closing things down in the afternoon (or both!), let the deacons know.
