The Shepherd & the Dead Man

This week we're diving into two of the most profound chapters in the Gospel of John—chapters 10 and 11. In John 10, Jesus reveals Himself as the Good Shepherd—the One who knows His sheep by name, lays down His life for them, and offers security no one can steal away. This powerful image of divine care is more than comfort—it's a call to trust and follow the voice of Christ in a world full of noise.

Then, in John 11, we witness one of Jesus' greatest miracles: the raising of Lazarus from the dead. But this story is more than a miracle—it's a revelation of Jesus' identity as the resurrection and the life. It's about hope when all seems lost, and the promise that death never has the final word.

There's far too much to unpack in one Sunday sermon—so I encourage everyone to read both chapters in full prior to church.

In Him,
