After the Rising

We had a wonderful weekend at Mosaic Church! On Saturday, we celebrated the life of Steve Weller, who, along with his wife, Rosa, has been with Mosaic Church from the beginning. Family members, friends, and Mosaic congregants past and present came together to honor Steve, including the founding pastor, Rick Ouimet, who officiated the ceremony and marveled at how good everything looked since his retirement three years ago. It was Steve's wish to spend this Easter with Jesus, and he got to do just that while we celebrated our risen Savior down here on Sunday. We had a great turnout, and Jamie Overholser gave an inspiring and novel message on the Resurrection. Incidentally, Easter 2024 marked the 17th anniversary of Mosaic Church, which held its first service on March 31, 2007!

This Sunday, I want to explore the days following the Resurrection and see how Jesus used them to prepare His disciples for the world-changing work He had for them - and us. I always look forward to sharing God's Word to encourage and prepare you!
